Hey, I'm Josh. A Chemical Engineering student pursuing a career in Investment Banking.

After facing serious health issues earlier this year, I have decided to resit my first year from September. I wanted to use this rare amount of free time productively, so I founded.  The IB Brief, a place to document my learning as I further my understanding of the financial world. 

 

Outside of this site, I have recently been appointed Treasurer of my university's tennis club, the largest sports society at the university. I am looking forward to helping run the club as well as the £50,000+ budget.

I've never prided myself on my writing abilities, however, there's no better way to improve then diving straight into the deep end. Here you'll find pieces on M&A deals, stock pitches and much more. I hope it helps others on a similar path, or at least offers some insight into the world of finance.
